The hand-off link

When a visitor confirms their home, the page sends them to your tracking link (TRACKING_LINK in config.js) with these values added. Our page reads them and fills in the address.

Send the address, not contact details. Our page collects name, phone and email itself, under its own consent text. The kit removes name, phone and email fields from your tracking link. If you already hold them, setting ALLOW_CONTACT_FIELDS to true in config.js lets firstName, lastName, phone and email pass through from your page link: accepted, but strongly discouraged, because links end up in browser history, logs and analytics on both sides. Values are URL-encoded for you (a space becomes +). The sample address is fictional.

Before you go live

  1. Fill in config.js: your brand name, tracking link, Terms and Privacy links, and disclaimer.
  2. Build the server side: the address route, the house picture route and the event logger, plus, if you want covered: true or false in your events, a copy of the coverage list. README.md lists what each must do.
  3. Set DEMO to false, then walk every path on a real phone on mobile data.
  4. Ask SellHouseFast to review your page before you spend.
