Search
The visitor typed what they want. They are already motivated, so the best thing you can do is get out of the way: send them straight to our page.
Who just clicked, and what happens next
A search is a question the visitor chose to ask. That makes this the highest-intent traffic in this guide.
The funnel, step by step
Search has the shortest funnel of any traffic type. The work is in the ad and the match, not in extra pages.
Screen 1 of 3: search results for sell my house fast, with your sponsored ad at the top.
The keyword and the ad Your ad
Bid on what a motivated seller actually types. Write the ad so it matches the keyword, and aim at the denser covered areas on the coverage site.
A headline that echoes the search Your page
If you use any page of your own, keep it to one screen: repeat what they searched for, then send them on. Do not add questions our page already asks.
Our page takes over SellHouseFast
It asks for the address, checks the owner and timeline, collects contact details under our consent text, verifies the phone and sends the lead on.
What works, and how sure we are
If you still want to test a pre-lander, the search landing kit is the one-screen starting point and the Meta pre-lander kit has longer flows.
| Tactic | How sure | What we know |
|---|---|---|
| Send the click straight to our page | From our experience | These visitors already want to sell. A pre-lander in between mostly adds friction. |
| Match the headline to the keyword | From our experience | If they searched "sell my house fast", the first thing they read should say so. |
| Aim at the densely covered areas | From our experience | The coverage site lists the counties and ZIPs where we sell most reliably today. Put most of your spend there; nothing is blocked. |
| Scale slowly | Proven in our data | Results get worse as spend rises. Raise budgets in small steps and check quality after each one. |
| Prefer calls that start from a search | From our experience | An inbound call after a search is cleaner for consent than most forms. We are not taking call traffic yet: see not covered yet. |
Tracking for search
sub3 is the keyword group or ad group, so we and you can see which searches earn. Our page asks for the address itself, so the link carries only the sub IDs. Contact fields are accepted in the link but strongly discouraged. Events are listed on the tracking page.
Compliance must-haves for search
- Ads say who you are and what the visitor gets. No "guaranteed", "no fees" or "no inspections".
- Aim at the more densely covered areas on the coverage list. Nothing is blocked.
- Terms and Privacy links that go to your own real policies, if you run any page of your own.
The full review list is on the compliance page.
